Dad’s still in the ICU. He hasn’t had seizures all morning until this afternoon. Doctors said the seizures should completely stop before they begin reducing his dependence on the ventilator and allow him to breathe on his own. They’re not certain when. The good thing is that he responds – either by trying to speak, trying to lift his left arm or by crying – when he sees familiar faces and hears familiar voices.
